Biography:
He was born in the city of Smila in Cherkasy region. In 2020, he decided to complete basic military training and, after passing the испытания, joined the “Azov” Regiment, signing a three-year National Guard of Ukraine contract. From the third month of service, he carried out combat missions as part of an infantry company, for which he received the Combat Participant medal.
He did not stop training in sports even while serving in the regiment. He won first place in a boxing tournament in 2022.
He was one of the defenders of the city of Mariupol. After leaving the territory of “Azovstal”, his crew reached positions where the enemy had already surrounded their brothers-in-arms. Assessing the situation, the crew decided to direct the armored vehicle toward the enemy — drawing attention to themselves and opening a route for their brothers-in-arms to break out of the encirclement. The vehicle came under enemy fire.
The 24-year-old defender of Ukraine was killed on 3 April while saving his brothers-in-arms. The body of the brave Warrior was taken to “Azovstal”. Many fighters who were evacuated from the besieged city by helicopters, or later returned from captivity, are alive today thanks to their friend “ADAMS”.
After an exchange of the bodies of the fallen and a DNA test, he was laid to rest in Cherkasy on 14 January 2023, on the Alley of Glory.
He was posthumously awarded the Order “For Courage”, 3rd Class.
