Biography:
Platoon commander of heavy machine guns of the 1st battalion of the Fire Support Company, 12th Brigade “Azov.” He was from Zaporizhzhia.
Oleksii was not just a commander—he was a brother, an example, and the support that held the unit together in the hardest moments. He always stood shoulder to shoulder with his platoon and never left his brothers-in-arms in trouble. For him, it was not just service—it was a calling.
A master of his craft, he understood machine guns like no one else. His professionalism, calm, and confidence saved lives more than once.
On May 1, in the Toretsk sector, during the unloading of an armored vehicle, it was hit by an enemy FPV drone. Oleksii did not hesitate for a moment—he shielded a brother-in-arms with his own body, thereby saving his life.
The memory of him will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. The best commander. The best friend. A true warrior.
