Biography:
He was born on August 13, 1999, in the city of Turka.
He studied at the Turkivska Gymnasium named after O. Ilnytskyi (boarding school).
In 2017, he graduated from the Lviv Interregional Higher Vocational School of Railway Transport.
With the start of the full-scale invasion, he joined the ranks of the “67th Separate Mechanized Brigade, DUK”.
He served in military unit 4123 and held the position of Deputy Commander of a Fighting Vehicle in the 3rd Mechanized Battalion. Senior Soldier.
He took part in protests starting from the Maidan.
He was very brave—he understood every task and carried it out at a word. He was one of those who did not fear assaulting enemy positions. He had a courageous and kind heart, knew how to joke at the right moment, and was a charismatic young man.
He was a wonderful father to his daughter and a wonderful husband.
On March 6, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Ploshchanka in the Luhansk region, Anatolii came under artillery fire and sustained severe blast injuries to his limbs.
“The assault lasted almost 12 hours. As a result of prolonged fighting, the weapon began to jam, but he did not lose his composure—he took a weapon from the enemy.”
He fought courageously for his life for two weeks. He regained consciousness and said: “I will fight. I haven’t done everything yet.”
However, he died from his injuries.
He died on March 21, 2023, at the Main Military Clinical Hospital in Kyiv.
He was only 23 years old.
He is survived by his daughter (who was three at the time), his wife, mother, sisters, and brother.
He was posthumously awarded the Order “For Courage,” 3rd Class.
He sacrificed his life for us—for peace and freedom of our country!
