Today is the birthday of a member of our collective, Andrii Popovych.
A guy we are rightfully proud of. From a young age, Andrii (“PANDA”) actively traveled to away matches, supported his home club, took part in nearly all the fights of recent years, and was one of the best athletic trainees of Sasha “TRENER” Klushyn.
Sincere, modest, and straightforward — a guy you could always rely on — with clear life principles and convictions. An example of a true ideological nationalist who proved his beliefs both in words and in deeds.
Even before the full-scale invasion, he joined the 92nd Brigade, where he met the enemy and did everything he could to help de-occupy his home in Balakliia. He could have remained in artillery, but he went into the infantry — into the renowned 1st Battalion of the 92nd — to do even more. Because he could not do otherwise. There, he received his call sign “BOHATYR”. After the group commander was killed, he took over leadership himself and led the group forward.
Sadly, on 19 April, while carrying out a combat mission, Andrii “BOHATYR” Popovych was killed as a true warrior — having walked a достойний path and falling in battle for his country.
Andrii “BOHATYR” Popovych. 92nd Brigade. SPC division. In formation!
