This loss can never be put into words—it tore out a piece of each of our hearts. He died as a true warrior, with a weapon in his hands. He began his military path back in 2015, when he was mobilized and came to serve in a Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great. There, he rose to become the commander of a fire support company, and in 2016 he was discharged to the reserve. At the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022, Tymofieiev came to the enlistment office on his own and was assigned to the Kovel Battalion of a Separate Territorial Defense Brigade, where he served as the commander of a fire support company. He fought his last battle on April 21, 2024, in the settlement of Ocheretyne, Donetsk Oblast. To be a warrior is to live forever. We remember. We will avenge.
