Biography:

A native of Zhytomyr, he stood up to defend Ukraine from the first days of the full-scale invasion. A former athlete—Candidate for Master of Sport in hand-to-hand combat “Kharakternyk,” a multiple-time winner of all-Ukrainian competitions, and a graduate of the Zhytomyr Road Transport College and Zhytomyr Polytechnic.

In February 2022, he returned from abroad to fight. He served in the 141st Territorial Defense Battalion, and later in the “Azov” Brigade, taking part in the operation to relieve the siege of Mariupol. He continued his service in a reconnaissance platoon in the Donetsk region, participated in the liberation of the Kherson region, and carried out mine-clearance operations.

In 2024, he fought on the Zaporizhzhia front in a fire support company, and later in a special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. He was a model of courage and reliability, and a moral pillar for his brothers-in-arms.

On April 30, 2025, he was killed while carrying out an operation to destroy enemy manpower.

He was awarded the medal “For Combat Merits” (posthumously), in accordance with Order No. 349 of May 8, 2025, signed by the Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov.
