Biography:
He was born and raised in Stryi, Lvivska Oblast. He grew up charismatic, quick-witted, and deeply curious. He loved football and played it, trained at the Stryi branch of the “Skala” Football Academy, and was a passionate supporter of Kyiv’s “Dynamo.”
Music held a special and important place in his life—especially underground music. He wrote poetry, and performed some of it as recitative over a beat. He dreamed of recording his own tracks.
Vlad was always open to people—the heart of any group, someone you could laugh with from the soul, sometimes cry to, and come away with a ton of motivation. He never left anyone in trouble and would come to help even when he had his own worries.
He had a sharp sense of dignity and justice, firm life principles, and followed them consistently—especially in matters of family, loved ones, and national self-identification.
With the start of the full-scale invasion, he followed the call of his heart and stepped up to defend Ukraine. As early as 26 February 2022, Vlad was a fighter of the 65th Battalion of the 103rd Separate Territorial Defense Brigade, where he took the callsign “Dynamo” in honor of his favorite football club.
He took part in combat operations in Sumshchyna, Kharkivshchyna, and Donetchyna. He was a highly motivated, driven, brave, and ambitious warrior—always showing initiative and constantly improving his military skills. He never hid behind others and always wanted to be in the front ranks.
“Dynamo” was killed on 21 September 2022 in the battle to liberate the settlement of Yampil, Donetska Oblast. The life of the 22-year-old warrior was cut short by an enemy sniper’s bullet.
Posthumously, Vladyslav was awarded the Order “For Courage,” 3rd Class, the medal “Honor and Duty,” and the commemorative breast badge “Honor and Fatherland.”
