Biography:
Words from Brothers-in-Arms:
Fritz was cheerful, brave, and true to his convictions—a man of action, not talk. A football hooligan of FC “Zirka,” part of the HVF crew, and an assault soldier of the 5th Separate Assault Brigade. A smile, a taste for adventure, and courage—these were the main traits that described him.
I’ll probably start with this: on February 24, 2022, without hesitation, Fritz returned from Poland to repel the enemy in this sacred war. Over three years of war, he never once stepped back, no matter how hard it was.
For many, Fritz became a good friend, and for some, a brother—not by blood, of course, but what difference does that make. From a young age, Fritz prepared himself and became a warrior. Sure, he was quite the troublemaker: he loved beer, loved girls, loved fast cars, and he liked to throw punches—within reason. He didn’t know how to offer comfort, but if help was needed, he would always show up. And this isn’t the kind of thing people write about every acquaintance, only for reality to be the opposite—Fritz was someone you could rely on. Even if you argued yesterday for some reason, you still knew you could count on him. You weren’t afraid to go into battle with him. In fact, he could even stand up for a person he didn’t know—so what is there to say about those close to him.
If someone didn’t understand something or didn’t know, Fritz would always explain, teach, or show. He was веселим, he wasn’t afraid of death; his temper was explosive, but he still listened. We miss Fritz deeply, but we must continue his work—do what he believed in, and remember him, and what he fought for.
