Biography:

Words from @avanturist.ua

A defender of Ukraine, a businessman who lived abroad, but from the first days of the full-scale invasion joined the Armed Forces.

When people asked him:

“Why did you come back?”
he always replied that he returned by the call of his heart and honor. Call of Duty, as they say.

During his military service, he fought in the defense of Kyiv and battled the enemy in the hottest areas: the settlements of Torske, Yampil, and Dibrova; in the notorious Serebrianskyi Forest; and in other locations across Donetska and Luhanska Oblasts.

At 60, he trained every morning and outperformed many younger men—both in cardio and in strength. He was a commander people followed with confidence. Many brothers-in-arms remember conversations with Harik, when he spoke about traveling the world and the culinary discoveries that impressed him.

Discipline.
He was always an example of discipline and military valor. It is worth adding that he had the option to leave the service due to age, but friend Harik chose to ignore that opportunity. A warm-hearted person, a brave warrior. A friend who is dearly missed.

He was killed during fighting in Donetska Oblast while providing aid to a wounded brother-in-arms.

Friend Harik will remain forever in our hearts and memory. His unit command submitted paperwork for his family to receive the Order “For Courage,” 3rd Class.
