Oleh was born on 15 April 1995 in the city of Varash (formerly Kuznetsovsk), Rivne Oblast. After finishing school, he studied at a vocational school. He later entered the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, where he qualified as a design engineer. He was actively involved in sports and was married. At the beginning of the war, he voluntarily joined the reconnaissance unit of the 3rd Battalion “Svoboda” of the 4th Rapid Reaction Brigade “Rubizh.” He went through the Bakhmut campaign. Near Kurdiumivka, together with neighboring units, he took part in successful assaults, led others forward, and destroyed the enemy. In 2023, on the Siversk axis near Spirne, he conducted rotations during fierce fighting, repelled assaults, and evacuated fallen soldiers from dangerous sectors of the front. His decisiveness repeatedly saved the lives of his brothers-in-arms. Oleh had strong tactical abilities, made decisions quickly under fire, and organized coordination between units. He was trusted as a commander and leader. He became an instructor in the battalion, trained young soldiers, and built an effective team. In 2025, he returned to the front, joining a fire-support company. For 32 consecutive days he held positions, repelled attacks, and inspired his unit. He celebrated his 30th birthday on 15 April. On 19 April 2025, during a second move into position, the enemy used heavy weapons. Oleh was the first to rush to reinforce the dugout, shielding his brothers-in-arms. He was killed while saving others. His name became known even to the enemy. Russian propaganda resources openly celebrated his death—an acknowledgment by the enemy of the significance of the warrior they had faced.
