Malysh met the full-scale invasion in the ranks of the KRAKEN special unit. He took part in all major operations of the unit, including the Kharkiv counteroffensive.

Oleh carried out his duty with honor and dignity. To his last breath, he remained faithful to his ideas, his people, and his Motherland.

On 02.07, while carrying out a combat mission near Bakhmut, our brother-in-arms Oleh Fadeienko “Malysh,” the reconnaissance commander of the 1st Assault Battalion of the 3rd Assault Brigade, was killed as a result of wounds sustained. He was one of the leaders of Centuria in the Kharkiv region and the founder of “Nord Storm”.

From the first days of the war, he stood up to defend his state. He defended the Kharkiv region as part of the HUR special unit “Kraken”. As part of the 3rd Assault Brigade, he helped liberate the Kherson region and took part in battles for Bakhmut and the surrounding areas.

He was awarded the Honorary Badge of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the “Silver Cross,” and the Presidential Award for Courage — the Order “For Courage,” 3rd Class.

A man of his word, a man of honor. A professional serviceman, an athlete—he was highly skilled with firearms, the art of knife fighting, and combat sports. We will not forget your training, your advice, and your guidance 🤝

A true warrior, an example to follow—a man who combined ruthlessness toward the enemy with tenderness toward his beloved wife and love for his daughter, who recently turned one. We know how much you loved your girls ❤️‍🩹
