Biography:

Hero of Mariupol. A fighter of the “Azov” Regiment since 2017.

On February 24, at the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, he left his sergeant training in Zolochiv. Together with his brothers-in-arms from western Ukraine, they miraculously broke through to the semi-blockaded Mariupol. The men found weapons and a bus that was handed over to them at one of the airports. There, Slavik helped and gave recommendations, sharing his experience of defense and protection with the men who remained to defend the airport.

He was killed on April 15, 2022, from gunshot wounds while attempting to break through to the Azovstal plant.
