Biography:

Maksym Mykhailovych Mykhailovskyi Call sign “MELKYI” He was born on 12 April 2006 and lived his entire life in the village of Bilohorodka, Kyiv Oblast. He studied at Bilohorodka Academic Lyceum No. 1. After finishing school, he entered KNTU. He met the full-scale war while still underage. From primary school, he practiced boxing, where he found his first loyal friends—friends with whom he would later stand shoulder to shoulder in defense of Ukraine. After turning 18, he consciously joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the unmanned systems battalion of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade. He carried out combat missions on the Kharkiv and Donetsk axes. He was a UAV operator and worked with Mavic-type drones, conducting reconnaissance, fire adjustment, and combat drops. He had experience serving as a squad commander and senior position leader. According to his brothers-in-arms, he was someone they could always rely on and trust with their lives. He never abandoned his own and always came to help. He was heroically killed on 26 March 2026 in Luhansk Oblast while carrying out a combat mission. He was 19 years old at the time of his death. He would have turned 20 just two weeks later. He passed through a worthy combat path and became an example of honor, courage, and responsibility. According to his family, his light will forever remain in the memory of his loved ones and everyone who knew him. Maksym is remembered as a person of light—someone who knew how to give warmth and hope to those around him. Always smiling, open, and sincere, he carried a sense of ease and joy within him, loved life, was not afraid of change, and was open to new experiences. He remained a man of honor and justice, always supported others in difficult moments, and was the first to stand beside those who needed help. His humanity, inner strength, and dignity earned the respect of everyone who knew him. He left behind a bright memory and a deep mark in the hearts of his loved ones. He will forever remain the best son, brother, and friend.
