Biography:

In 2009, he graduated from the Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv National Air Force University with a degree in “Anti-Aircraft Weapon Systems and Complexes”, obtaining the qualification of a tactical-level military command officer.

After completing his studies, from 2009 to 2017 he served in officer positions in the 540th Anti-Aircraft Missile Lviv Regiment named after Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi of Air Command “West” of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Later, Vadym Muravskyi entered service in the Special Operations Forces units and served as commander of a special operations detachment. Lieutenant Colonel.

He carried out combat missions in the area of the Anti-Terrorist Operation / Joint Forces Operation. He gained his first combat experience in 2014 as part of the combined detachment “Dyka Kachka” of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of Donetsk Airport.

In 2021, he enrolled in the National Defence University of Ukraine. He completed the program on an accelerated track due to the start of the full-scale invasion and was assigned to serve in the Special Operations Forces Command.

From the beginning of 2024, he carried out missions as part of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

For courage and bravery in carrying out combat missions, he was awarded numerous state and departmental distinctions, including “For Exemplary Service to Ukraine”, “ATO Participant”, “For Military Service to Ukraine”, and “For Conscientious Service”.

Vadym Muravskyi is survived by his parents, wife, two children, and sister.
