Biography:
Oleksandr did not stay on the sidelines in 2014 and took part in the Revolution of Dignity. He completed compulsory military service, and together with his father joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the very first day of the full-scale invasion to defend the independence of his state.
At first, Sashko fought in the battles for Kyiv as part of the security company of the Desnianskyi RTCC. Later came the Bakhmut campaign as part of the 66th OSB, and afterwards the counteroffensive on the Zaporizhzhia direction as part of the 118th OMBR. He fought the Russians for Zaporizhzhia land, which he came to love so deeply, until his last breath.
Brothers- and sisters-in-arms remember PRYID as a brave warrior and, at the same time, a very compassionate and kind person. He never left anyone in trouble. Risking his life, Oleksandr carried the wounded from the battlefield and towed vehicles of anyone who needed help.
In the time free from service duties, Sashko helped through volunteer work — most often with humanitarian aid for the wounded in hospitals. He organized fundraisers for his unit, actively helped other volunteers, and always supported those who needed help or simply a kind word in difficult times and hard moments. He simply could not pretend that evil did not exist — that is why every action of his had meaning and value.
Sashko is survived by his parents, his wife, and his daughter, whom he did not have time to see. Despite everything, he lived with a smile and died with a smile.
Forever in formation!
