Pavlo Parytskyi — PSIH 07.03.1997 - 08.04.2025 He was born in Kherson Oblast. Before the war, he actively practiced jiu-jitsu and dreamed of working in aviation in his professional field. In June 2022, he joined the Special Operations Forces. Over three years, Pavlo served on nearly every major axis. He went through fierce fighting in the freezing Bakhmut winter of 2023 and took part in some of the first counteroffensive operations in his native Kherson region in the summer of 2023. He also participated in operations near Verbove, Vovchansk, in Kursk region, Chasiv Yar, and Pokrovsk. Pasha was one of the kindest and brightest people. He always knew how to support others and make a well-timed joke. Everyone in our unit remembers Pavlo as one of the most intelligent and calm brothers-in-arms, a person who could be relied on at any moment. He was a true professional and remained devoted to his work to the end. Pasha was the kind of officer who never stayed behind at a command post. He loved working in the field with equipment. During the final three months of his life, he carried out hundreds of sorties, destroying waves of enemy infantry near Pokrovsk. On the evening of 8 April 2025, he was killed together with his crew while carrying out a fire-strike mission against the enemy. He was posthumously awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, 3rd Class. Today he would have turned 29. Bright memory and eternal glory to the Hero of Ukraine.
