Biography:

He was born on 16 March 1994 in the village of Ozeryanka in Zhytomyr region.

He graduated from the Zhytomyr branch of the University of Modern Knowledge with a degree in Finance and Credit. He preferred active recreation, adventures, and fantasy, and loved watching anime. He enjoyed cooking and played sports with pleasure. He especially loved the mountains.

When the full-scale invasion began, Bohdan could not stay at home and joined the local self-defense unit; previously, he had only completed a military training department at university. He could have been very useful in construction, because he had extensive experience and truly “golden hands”, but he chose the path of a brave warrior.

When the danger moved farther away from his native Zhytomyr region, he went to the military enlistment office of his own free will and was sent for training in Desna. By the summer, Bohdan was already taking part in heavy fighting in Donetsk region as part of the 66th Separate Mechanized Brigade. In August, after a severe battle that lasted several days, the machine-gun platoon commander was wounded, but even then he did not want to leave — he courageously came to help brothers-in-arms from other brigades.

Bohdan always boldly went into battle first and could not sit idle. He respected everyone, and most importantly, he knew how to value friendship. Cheerful, tireless, devoted to the spirit of adventure, everything he had in his life he achieved through hard work. He believed nothing would happen to him. He was very happy and was only beginning to live for his own joy, with countless plans and dreams. In the autumn, Bohdan was promoted to Lieutenant. After returning from the hospital, he took part in clearing operations in Lyman.

On 6 October, he went on another mission as a reconnaissance serviceman, after which contact with him was lost near the village of Novoliubivka, Svatove District, Luhansk Oblast.

He was courageous and brave, and at the same time his boundless kindness and compassion captivated everyone. We will remember him with deep gratitude.
