Biography:

He was born in the city of Kostopil, Rivne Oblast. He lived his entire life in Poltava region.

He devoted 15 years of his life to the Penitentiary Service of Ukraine. He worked as a driver and later as Head of Security.

He sang beautifully and devoted all his free time to preparing for new performances with his group. His songs can still be heard — but only in recordings…

He was exceptionally kind, sincere, fair, intelligent, honest, talented — a true patriot, faithful to the Ukrainian national idea and to the principles of people’s morality and spirituality. His favorite slogan was:
“Ukraine — above all” 🇺🇦

He was an example of a warrior, husband, father, son, brother, and friend. His courage and resilience inspired others.

From the first days of the war, he stood up to defend the country. He served in the Separate Combined Assault Detachment “ODIN”. He defended the country’s borders in Sumy and Chernihiv regions. Later, he went through the hellish battles on the Lyman direction and fought bravely to the last for his country near Avdiivka. For almost a year, he was considered missing in action.

On 2 February 2024, while carrying out a combat mission in the area of the settlement of Avdiivka, Donetsk Oblast, Snitchuk Volodymyr Mykolaiovych was killed, courageously fulfilling his military duty in battle for Ukraine, its freedom, and independence. According to a brother-in-arms, he died as a warrior — as a Hero.

In August 2024, “SICHEN” was awarded the Order “Golden Cross”.
