He met the start of the full-scale invasion in Kyiv Oblast. Later, he took part in the battles for Sievierodonetsk, the Lysychansk Oil Refinery, Bilohorivka, Spirne, and then moved to the Zaporizhzhia axis. He was to become a company commander.

He was killed on February 3, 2024, while carrying out a combat mission. His current position did not require frontline work—he could have calmly continued along a career path, but Vlad chose the path of a true combat officer. He said: “And who will lead the men if not me? Without me, they won’t go. I can’t abandon them.”

With him, people felt more confident—he could always motivate and support them. An exceptionally sincere, bright person who loved life, he was always positive and shared that positivity with others.

A son, a brother-in-arms, a true officer, a friend, a member of our community—a Person with a capital P.

Special forces will remain in our hearts forever 🫡
