On August 14, 2024, he was killed on the battlefield while carrying out a combat mission.

Rostyslav devoted his conscious life to defending Ukraine and its people. He was always faithful and devoted to his Homeland. He went into battle bravely, covered his brothers-in-arms with fire, and never left anyone in trouble—you could rely on him for help. Kind, sincere, fair, and courageous.

He was a fan of the Kharkiv football club “Metalist.” Because of this passion, friends he trained with began calling him “Metal.”

Your memory will remain in the hearts of everyone who knew you.
Rest now, dear one.
We remember you, brother.
We will avenge.
