Biography:

A combat officer whose presence on the battlefield motivated and inspired the warriors who followed him.

Mykhailo graduated from the National Army Academy named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi in February 2015 and, upon assignment, was sent to serve in the ranks of the 55th Separate Artillery Brigade “Zaporizka Sich”, where he “grew” from lieutenant to lieutenant colonel. While carrying out missions in the ATO and JFO, he earned authority and trust among his colleagues and subordinates.

He was a bright, cheerful, life-loving, kind person. A measured and professional commander who was always by his soldiers’ side and remained faithful to his word and oath.

The officer commanded an anti-tank battalion, which he called his second family. His first family were his “girls” — his wife Anastasiia and his daughter Sofiia. Mykhailo was their support, a rock that protected them from everything that could bring harm. The best husband and father.

Mykhailo continues to live in the hearts of many people. The lieutenant colonel was laid to rest in his small homeland, in the Sumy region.
